Welcome to author Jacinta Maree

Hello, Jacinta, congratulations on your book release, a Dystopian New Adult story.

Now, for a little about it:

Welcome to Soulless.
We are the generation that laughs at death.

Reincarnation; what was once considered a gift of immortality has become an eternity of nightmares.

Nadia Richards lives in a world plagued by reincarnation, a system of recycling souls where all past memories, personalities and traumatic events are relived daily in disjointed sequences. Trapped within their own warped realities, not even the richest and most powerful are saved from their own minds unraveling. Madness is the new human nature, and civilizations are crumpling beneath themselves trying to outrun it.

Within a society that ignores death, Nadia appears to be the one exception to the reincarnation trap. Born without any reincarnated memories and with printless eyes, the hot tempered 19 year old quickly becomes the ultimate prize to all those wishing to end the vicious cycle, or for some, to ensure they could evade death forever.

Readers discretion: Adult language, violence and some adult scenes. For mature audiences only.

Let's see an excerpt:

His top lip curled, as it always did in his half smile. “I can’t stop thinking about it.”

“About what?”

In his hands, he fiddled with the hunting knife. “You.” He twisted the blade and flicked out, clearing the dirt under his nails. “You were going to leave me. You said it was better this way, for the both of us.” The rasp of his accusing voice felt like a guillotine above my neck.

I uncomfortably shuffled back but didn’t speak.

“You were right. Your life without me would be better. Easier. Safer.” Every word strained from his lips as though he was pushing air from the pit of his stomach. My eyes widened and my heart picked up speed. Diesel lightly shook his head. “But this isn’t about making things easier. You’re with me now and you won’t leave no matter how hard it gets.”

“That’s not for you to decide,” I said with a cringe.

“Because if you leave me—”

With an anguished sign, I turned my head away. “Let me guess, you’ll always find me? And if I try to run you will break my legs and chop off my fingers and remove my eyes-”

“No. If you leave me, I will vanish… and I don’t want to vanish, Nadia.”

Surprised, my jaw went slack. Without even blinking, Diesel stilled his fumbling and tightened his stare, looking at me in a way I felt penetrated to my very core.

“You don’t know what it’s like living in this hell. I’m drowning under black water and I can never surface. You remember what it feels like to have your body shut down only to wake up not knowing which reality is real. It would’ve been easier to fade into a drifter, to stop the fight all together and just crumple into the purest of insanities. In my darkest moments I almost allowed it to happen, but then I met you. The girl with no reincarnated memories. The one without a soul imprint. It’s you, and only you, who can save me. But then you came into my room with that story about how everything would be better if we were separated. You left me tied to a bed, and for hours I thought I had lost you. Do you know how that feels? To have everything you’ve ever wanted just walk out? I came to realise just how dangerous you are to me. Just how easily you can break me in half. That’s why I can’t let you leave.”

And a little about the author:

Welcome to author C.M. Seabrook

Hello, C.M. congratulations on the release of you contemporary romance,
Fighting Blind.

Mackenzie Brooks is everything I've ever wanted.

Three years ago, she walked out of my life. No explanation. Just gone.

With the biggest fight of my career only weeks away, she walked back in.

I'll do anything to protect her. Destroy anyone who tries to hurt her. When it comes to Mac, there isn't a line I won't cross.

I've loved her my entire life, and now that's she's back I won't let her go.

She refuses to speak about the past, or the secrets I know she's hiding.

I know she's planning on running again. But when you love someone, you stay and fight. Even if you're fighting blind.

**This sounds very interesting!

Now an excerpt:

Her hands snake around my back and she rests her forehead against my chest. I pull her tight, reveling in the warmth of her body. My muscles tense in awareness of how perfectly she fits against me.

I breathe in her scent, not wanting the moment to pass. “Let me fix this.”

“You don’t even know what I’ve done.” Her voice is muffled against my chest. “If you knew, you wouldn’t…I can’t do this.”

“Whatever it is, it’s in the past. Come home with me and we’ll figure things out.”

She shakes her head against my chest and mumbles incoherently. When she pulls back, there are tears running down her cheeks and her eyes are red. I know before she says the words that she’s going to run again. Whatever she’s hiding, it’s obvious she doesn’t trust me.

A cold chill wraps around me when she drops her hands and takes a step backwards.

“I need to go.”

“Mac.” Her name comes out as a rough plea, and I see her flinch.

“Don’t come back,” she whispers, before disappearing through the shelter’s doors.

Like hell I won’t. Losing her once nearly destroyed me. I won’t lose her again.

Welcome author AC Chenier

Hello, AC, congratulations on your new releases, Past Lives Series--Loves of our Lives and Love by Knight, a romance.

What are the different ways characters can access their past lives?"
Well, I try to keep the character access to past lives as real as possible.  In my experience you can touch on past lives in many ways.
·      Dreams
·      Déjà vu
·      Visions or Hearing Things
·      Regression Therapy/ Hypnotism
The most reliable and easily verifiable method is of course through hypnotism. In my writing I’ve tried to rely on the work of Dr. Brian Weiss when I have a character work through a session. However, rather than keeping everything in the 3rd person as a past memory, I bring the entire scene to life for the readers…. Step back in time to actually witness the events as they happen.
Now, not all dreams or déjà vu feelings are truly soul memories. Some are just your sub-conscious dealing with episodes from your own life, which you may not even remember. But it can also be a past life memory that is trying to surface.  I know I’ve been to a few places in Europe and the UK that have left me with that weird, creepy or eerie feeling that I’ve been to that location before. It’s an incredibly powerful sensation when you are touched by a building or monument.
I think the world is always telling us something, but we don’t always listen and that includes our past lives. The more in tune you are to your intuitive abilities the more apt you are to be able access past lives.
**Very interesting!

The Past Lives series of books introduces two strong women who undergo dramatic changes in their lives when they learn about their soul's past. Through past life regression they learn of their own history and investigate the concept of soul mates reuniting through time. Read Loves of our Lives and Love by Knight to learn about Katie Benjamin and Kelly Taylor.

**Very good, now for an excerpt:

Loves of our Lives – Book 1

“I want you to think about some things over the next few days and weeks. I want you to clearly look inside yourself and ask what it is you want, not what anyone else wants or expects from you. Meditate on it. Pray on it, if that works for you. But make sure that any action you do or do not take is based on what is right and good for you. Not Katie. But the real and true you. You’re starting to see her in your life on a daily basis. Talk to her. Find out what she wants you to do. Then follow through on your heart and soul decision. Only then can you know that what you are doing is right for you, the true you. Not Catherine, not Elinor, not Katie, or any other human body you have inhabited. Do what is right for the authentic and real you.”

Welcome author Ann Vanino

Hello, Ann, congratulations on your work: Personal Transformation From the Inside Out, a Personal Growth book.

Transformation At Different Stages Of Life

The caterpillar goes through just one transformation and becomes a butterfly. As humans, however, we can experience many transformations during the course of our lives. Our transformations are usually self-initiated, rather than guided by nature. Sure, things can happen that we have no control over, that can change our life, but how and whether we transform in response to them is up to us.

In indigenous cultures and ancient times, there were and are defined “passages” that people experience in their lives; coming into adulthood is one. Often, our own transformations occur during times of passage. Here are a few:

When we leave home for the first time

When we leave home we are on our own in a new way. No longer does our family surround us each day. Space is open to create the circumstances we want to live in and we have freedom to live our life as we choose to.

When we marry and when we have a child

When we marry or have children, someone else has become a central part of our life. We are creating a new family of our own choosing; different than the one we were born into.  We transform as our family interacts and influences us. We can guide our transformation or it can happen to us by default.

When we start or leave a new job

Work, including staying at home with children or family, takes up a good portion of of our lives. When we start a new job the people we are with, the tasks that we do and our environment change. When we leave a job, all of these things become our past. Change is all around us and we can transform because of this.

As you age

Often, in each new decade of our lives, we focus on how we are growing older. Different decades have different meanings. Many of us view these markers as significant times compelling us to transform.

How and when we transform is our choice. We are not caterpillars; we have control over our lives. We can initiate and guide our own transformations to make our lives better, more honoring of our values or more meaningful to us. As we open our minds to transforming through all the stages of our life, we will be better off. Change brings good things and growth keeps life interesting.

We are living in a time of transformation. Old ways are fading. New ways are emerging. There is an increasing focus within. Many of us are feeling a desire to create a new direction for our lives.

Chrysalis: Personal Transformation From The Inside Out uses nature’s process of Chrysalis- a caterpillar transforming to a butterfly – as a guide for our own personal transformation. Each stage of Chrysalis provides a jumping-off point, upon which to reflect about our own experiences as we each transform.

**Nice. Now for an excerpt:

Chapter Three
Growth and Struggle

Starting With Yourself

In your own Chrysalis, you start from where you are, developed and conditioned by the outside world. Who would think a caterpillar’s tissues would create a butterfly?  It is a beginning for you, different from anything that has gone before.
Great Destruction Brings Rebirth

There are other examples in nature of great destruction bringing rebirth—volcanoes pushing rich new soil to the surface, small earthquakes releasing pressure on a fault line and weathering and erosion creating new land forms.

In your Chrysalis, effort is well spent in balancing the destructive and creative forces occurring in your life. It is a time of some chaos. Your point of gravity is shaken, and stability is not yet regained. Enduring your Chrysalis involves maintaining balance between creation and destruction through discipline and developing habits that support you through this time. As parts of your life crumble, you may need more nurturing. As the new enters your life, you may need to give yourself some time to acclimate.
As you endure creation and destruction or face uncertainty in your life, know that rebirth awaits you.
Why Change?

Wasn’t the caterpillar beautiful enough?
Yes, it was.
Its new opportunity, as a butterfly,
Lies in its wings—to fly.

Try this:

Think of a time in your life when you were scared, but you kept going.
What gave you the strength and courage to proceed? (You can use that again.)
What would have happened if you did not proceed?
How would your life be now?

**Those are great questions to ponder. What of your background?

Hello, my new short story, a time travel to the fourteenth century is available at Amazon. Here is a blurb:

Symon de Burgh is a fourteenth-century knight. His wife has taken ill with the Plague, and he is heartbroken. Trapped in the twenty-first century, he is desperate to get back home. He meets an interesting woman who happens to be his only hope, Isanne, an American soldier. She goes back to the fourteenth century with him on a self-dare and is shocked to find that Symon did not lie about where he was from. The trouble is, she can never go back.
