Favorite time-travel writers

Hello, I write time-travels because the idea of crossing time fascinates me. I've read many time-travel books by excellent authors such as:
Jack Finney, J. Suzanne Frank, Constance O'Day Flannery, Linda LaRoque, and others. What I want to know is, who are your favorite time-travel authors?

Hi Laura,
Some of absolute favorite authors that write about time travel include: Barbara Erskine (Lady of Hay), and Richard Matheson (Somewhere In Time-novel and movie).
Love your blog. You introduce fascinating topics and subjects for me to think about.
I thought I was the only one who enjoyed reading time travel novels!
Hm, who knew!

I write time travel Laura and I would be interested. I love to read them, I think I have read every one of the print books and now I am working my way through TWRP's TT books. You're not the only one Kimberly, let's form a club? (grin)
Good luck with your blog Laura.

I love time travels and have read many good ones. Some of the newest one's I've read are from Wild Rose Press authors. But my all time favorite in this genre is the late Dawn Thomspon. She wrote for Dorchester in the Love Spell line.

I've also written one of my own that will be coming out with TWRP this July. It's set during the American Civil War.

All over the club thing, Mary :)

After reading Jude Devereaux's and almost all in the romance genre I could find, I dipped back into sci-fi a little. One I remember was Robert Heinlein's The Door into Summer.

Who can forget Johanna Lindsey's Viking hero, Thor, in Until Forever?

Enjoyed visiting your blog, Laura :)

I think the original historical romance books I read inspired me to write time travel romance. I always wanted to be the charished heroine in the books I read. Of course, now I know that living in the times the books are placed wasn't a walk in the park, which is what makes time travel so wonderful.
You can read / write about a modern 21st century woman thrust into a different time with the knowledge of the future and you have a book many women can relate to. It is the best of what I love in romance.
Paranormal. historical and romance. Ahhh... okay back to my WIP.
