If you could go to a different time...

Hello, if you could time-travel to a different time, when/where would you go and why? Would you only observe from a distance, or would you like to live in that time for a bit?

That intresting to think about the easiest one would be to observe Christ to see where the bible went wrong in areas then there is the founding of America there are so many places I think it would be the at jeffersons side and tell him to be a bit more clear on seperation of Church and state too many people are confused about that one which has lead to a lot of todays problems

It would depend if one could return via the same portal or corridor. Beyond even 50 years ago, women had few rights available to them. Married women had a few more than single women.

That aside, if one had the proper clothes and money available to them, I would like to go to the 1880s when the Canadian Pacific Railway was opening western Canada to tourists. It would be purely for the pleasure of being in a time when nature was at its pristine best before pollution began to take its toll. And perhaps to have a mountain or pass named after me.
